Cards for men!

It's another beautiful day today but still to hot for me, so it's off to the craft room to work on my Dads birthday card.  My Dad is a very keen fresh water fisherman.  Last year it was his 80th birthday and I made him a fish shaped birthday cake.

Each year I theme Dad's card around fishing and this year is no exception.  I managed to buy on ebay an unusal American stamp which features a large 'Bart' fish.  Now all I have to do is design it!

Cards for men are always the most difficult for me to make.  Here are a few cards made over the last couple of years, I loved the way the jacket and shirt card came out.

  1. Well, I can see what you've been doing Mrs Crafty V! The blog looks great :o)
I am in total agreement with you about 'male' cards and them being somewhat difficult - no glitter, flowers or fancy ribbon (*shush* the word 'boring' springs to mind) however, I LOVE the Traditional British Bulldog theme card you've made!
